Description

Louth Centenary Methodist Church, formerly known as Wesleyan Chapel, was built in 1835. This two-storey brick building features five round-headed windows on the street side. The two central windows are flanked by two that project forward, with two narrower windows on the ends. Between the windows, there is a row of five inset stone panels adorned with swags. The church has a plinth and two plain double doors set within a moulded architrave facing the street. A blocking course at the top is raised in the center and bears the inscription "Wesley Chapel 1835." The church is part of a group that includes Nos 33 to 39 (odd), Louth Centenary Methodist Church & Town Hall, and Nos 2 & 4 Nichol Hill.
