Description
Old Abbey Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed from squared limestone rubble and ashlar blocks, which were likely reused from Kirkstead Abbey. The gables are made of red brick, and the roof is covered with pantiles, featuring three brick gable stacks. The building has a T-plan layout and is two stories high, with a three-bay front that includes a brick eaves course with dentillation. The central entrance is a planked door, flanked by single three-light casements that have segmental heads. On the first floor, there are three casements, with the central one having two lights, positioned close to the eaves.
