4/37 Gate piers to Tathwell Hall

Pair of gate piers. c.1842. Limestone ashlar. Each with rectangular plan, chamfered rusticated bases rising up two-thirds of the pier to a flat band of Greek key pattern. Remainder of pier above of plain ashlar with moulded cornice above and ball finial.
