Description

  1. EASTGATE 1348 (North Side) No 65 (Tile Pack Horse Inn) Nos 67 & 69 TF 38 NW 1/39 II GV 2. Pack Horse Inn dated 1750 on inside of carriage arch. 3 storeys in brick. Pantile roof, replaced to the right. Nos 65 and 67 retain paired modillion eaves cornice. 6 windows, stucco keystones, segmental arches, hung sashes. Brick bands between storeys. 2 windows to the Inn on the ground floor. Rendered between windows, small plinth. Elliptical stone carriage arch with keystone to left. 2 plain late C19 shop fronts to the right. Nos 57 to 75 (odd), Nos 79 to 103 (odd) with No 2 Vickers Lane form a group.
