Description

No. 63 Eastgate is a late 18th or early 19th century building of three storeys, rendered with rusticated quoins. It has a Welsh slate roof. The building originally had two windows, featuring rusticated lintels, a carved keystone, and hung sashes with marginal glazing. A modern shop front now occupies the ground floor. The building forms a group with Nos. 57 to 75 (odd), Nos. 79 to 103 (odd), and No. 2 Vickers Lane. Group value derives from its cohesive architectural style within the streetscape.
