Description

Number 11 is a house, along with a screen, gate, and gate piers, built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a hipped slate roof with lead dressings, as well as wall stacks and a pantile roof on a lower wing. The building has stucco bands between its storeys and cast-iron details.

The exterior consists of three storeys and a three-bay front, with the central bay slightly advanced. To the right, there is a later two-storey single bay. The central entrance features an 8-panel door with a reeded architrave and panelled ingoes, topped by a fanlight that is recessed under a semi-circular brick arched opening. This door is flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there are a pair of French doors with a fanlight in a semi-circular recess, also flanked by single glazing bar sashes. The second floor has three smaller glazing bar sashes, all of which have flat rubbed brick arches and keystones.

To the right, the lower extension has a plain sash window flanked by single planked doors. Above this is a canted oriel bay window with plain sashes and a flat roof. The central front door is adorned with a decorative cast-iron porch, which has flanking railings that support a balcony on the first floor.

In front of the garden, there is a low cast-iron screen with gates and piers, all designed in an ogee style. The interior of the building has not been inspected.
