Description

Ings Bridge is a bridge built around 1805, likely designed by John Rennie. It is constructed of red brick and features millstone grit copings. The bridge has a single span with an elliptical arch set within a recessed panel, and it includes a corbelled brick band. The brick parapet flares out to square end piers. This bridge is part of a series of structures over the Hobhole drain, which were established by John Rennie during the drainage of the Fens.
