Description
The pigeoncote at Casterton Farm, located in the gardens east of the house, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in English bond and features a conical slate roof topped with a lead ball finial and a weather vane. The structure has a circular plan and consists of two storeys. The lower level has a planked door, while the upper stage includes a two-light opening. Both openings are adorned with splayed flat brick arches. Inside, the pigeoncote retains a timber floor and brick nesting boxes.
