Description
Fishtoft Manor is a house that was used as a country club at the time of listing. It dates from the late 18th century and features alterations from around 1900, along with a 20th-century extension. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and has a hipped plain tiled roof with two gable brick stacks.
The front of the house is three stories high and has three bays. It is adorned with a timber dentillated and moulded cornice. The central entrance features an eight-panel door with a margin light overlight and an eared wooden surround, which is sheltered by a 19th-century glazed porch. This porch is flanked by two projecting rectangular bays, also from the 19th century, which have hipped plain tiled roofs and brick dentillated eaves, containing tripartite plain sash windows.
On the first floor, there is a single plain sash window flanked by two tripartite sashes. The second floor features three glazing bar sash windows. All openings are topped with flat brick arches. The 20th-century extension to the left is not included in this description.
