Description

The Bulls Head is a 16th-century public house located on Market Street. It features a timber frame that is stuccoed, although some of the framing is exposed on the side. The building has an old tiled roof and a large plastered gable head that juts out slightly on curved brackets, with remnants of original plaster pargetting in the gable. The structure has two storeys and includes two three-light leaded casements. An early 19th-century penthouse addition with a slate roof is present at the first floor, supported by a post and featuring a bow window in the southern angle. Much of the framing is also exposed internally.
