Description
The building is a former stable located approximately 20 metres to the east of Hall Farmhouse, dating from the early to mid-18th century and altered over time. It features a chamfered stone base with red brick above, accented by blue headers, dentil eaves, and gable verges. The roof is half-hipped and covered with tiles. The stable is one storey high with a loft and consists of two bays. It has 20th-century two-light wooden casements set in original chamfered stone surrounds. There are flanking stable doors with banded stone surrounds and lintels shaped into segmental arches. A later brick chimney and a loft opening are located at the left end. There are small single-storey extensions at either end; the left extension is set back and has a pantiled roof, while the right extension was rebuilt in the 20th century and includes a stable door and a casement. Inside, the stable features arched brick mangers and reused roof beams. The building is included for its group value with the surrounding structures.
