Description
Park Lane Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century, with a late 19th century rear wing. The building features a timber frame with diagonal braces and large rectangular panels filled with whitewashed plaster. It has a high whitewashed stone plinth and a slate roof, along with a central rendered and whitewashed chimney. The farmhouse is two storeys tall and has a cellar, consisting of two bays.
On the ground floor, there are steps leading up to 20th century French doors, which are flanked by single lights on the left, and a 20th century canted oriel window on the right. The first floor has 19th century three-light horizontal sash windows, all of which include glazing bars. To the right of the building are two cellar openings, with the left opening featuring a chamfered stone mullion. The door to the late 19th century wing, which is at a right angle to the rear of the house, is made of whitewashed brick and also has a slate roof.
