Description
No. 13 The Green is a cottage built in 1840, which was formerly a Congregational Church Sunday School. It is constructed of red brick and features a 20th-century plain tiled twin span roof with paired gable ends, and a front gable that has a coped end wall stack. The front of the building has brick dentilled eaves and is two storeys high with one window that has renewed casements. The ground floor window is set under a stuccoed lintel with a keystone and includes a top light. The door also features a stuccoed lintel. At the rear, there are two open arches at the right corners that form a porch. A plaque on the rear end gable indicates that the Sunday School was erected in 1840. This building is included for its group value with the adjoining church.
