Description

The entrance gates, piers, and wall at the Sir John Moore Church of England School date from 1697 and are made of brick. The structure features a pair of plain red brick piers topped with stone ornaments. The carriage gates consist of two leaves and are adorned with simple late 17th-century wrought iron work. There is also a pedestrian gate designed in a similar style. A brick wall separates the school grounds from the roadside.
