Description
The gatepier and wall, located adjacent to and north east of The Lodge, were built in the mid-19th century and served as the former entrance to Donington Hall. The gatepier is made of ashlar stone and is octagonal in shape, featuring quatrefoil panels on its cap and a moulded finial. The dressed stone wall is approximately 25 meters long and has pitched stone coping. Both the gatepier and wall are designed to match those included in a nearby listing.
