Description
This building, a range of four houses dating from around 1800, is located at 101-105 High Street and includes No. 2 Leicester Road. Constructed of red brick known as Measham gobs, the houses feature brick dentilled eaves, coped gables, and a plain tile roof with three ridge stacks, which are rare for the area. The structure is three storeys high and has a five-window range with renewed sash windows that have cambered painted lintels. There are three doors with arched surrounds, while the left and center ground floor windows have been altered. The rear has renewed windows and extensions. At the right end of the range is No. 2 Leicester Road, which faces the road and has a 3/6 sash window on the first and second floors, with stucco lintels and sills, as well as a door and a renewed ground floor window.
