Description

The former cross, now functioning as a sundial, is located 1 meter south of the south aisle of the Church of St. Peter in Wymondham. It dates from the 14th century and the 19th century. The structure features an octagonal base set on a square pad, supporting a tapered square shaft with fluted sides, which stands approximately 1 meter high. The sundial itself is a plain round design from the 19th century.
