Description

Apple Tree Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage constructed from coursed and squared ironstone, featuring limestone ashlar dressings and a slate roof. The building has wooden bracketed eaves and a single brick gable stack. It is two storeys high and has two bays, arranged in an L-plan. The front of the cottage includes a central six-panel door, with the top two panels being glazed, a semi-circular hood, and a blank fanlight. On either side of the door are glazing bar sash windows, each with a keystoned lintel. Above the door, there are two similar glazing bar sash windows.
