Description

The garden boundary wall with gate piers, located to the northwest of Beechcroft (Number 15) on Church Lane in Asfordby, dates from the late 18th century. It features a coursed squared ironstone wall that is faced with red brick on the garden side, resting on a limestone plinth. The structure is topped with brick and stone coping. The red brick gate piers are adorned with arcaded fluting and have painted grey sandstone caps. This wall serves to separate the former rectory garden from the churchyard.
