Description
Eastbury House, located on Penn Lane in Stathern, is a former farmhouse built in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of red brick, primarily in stretcher bond, with alternating pairs of headers and stretchers every third course. It features a 20th-century ridged tile roof and brick stacks at both ends. The house has a central staircase plan and is two stories high with a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a panelled door with an overlight, set within a painted stone porch that has Doric columns, pilasters, an entablature, and a flat roof. The ground and first floors are adorned with 12-pane sash windows that have stone lintels and key blocks. The sides and rear of the building are finished in ironstone. The interior has not been inspected.
