Description
This chest tomb, made of brown sandstone with slate sides, is located approximately 2 meters southwest of the porch of the Church of All Saints. It dates from the early 19th century. The north side facing the path features a horizontal oval recessed panel with an inscription for William Marriott, who died in 1811. The ends of the tomb have upright oval recessed panels, and there is an inscription on the other long side for William Marriott, who died in 1835. The tomb is adorned with reeded corner pilasters and rests on a tall plinth.
