Description

Manor Farmhouse and adjoining outbuildings are a late 17th-century structure that was remodeled and extended in 1754, with further alterations in the late 19th century. The buildings are constructed of coursed and squared ironstone and brick, featuring limestone ashlar dressings, with roofs made of plain tiles and Swithland slate. There is a rubble plinth and two gable stacks along with a single ridge stack. The farmhouse is two storeys plus attics and has an L-plan layout with three bays.

The south front has, on the left, a two-bay section with ironstone walling and flush bands of limestone ashlar. This section includes a central part-glazed door with a flat hood, flanked by two three-light 19th-century casements. Above this, there are two similar casements, and above again, two 19th-century gabled brick dormers, each with a two-light casement. To the right is a two-bay 18th-century brick addition with dentillated eaves. On the left, there is a 19th-century stair light, and to the right, a blocked opening. Above, on the left, is a two-light casement, and to the right, another blocked opening. All these openings feature slight segmental heads. The right gable has a small casement for the garret and bears the date '1754' in burnt headers.

On the south side, there is a 20th-century bow window to the right, followed by a 20th-century two-light casement and a small square chamfered stone fixed light. Further to the left are three garage doors. Above these, there are two blocked openings and to the right, a 20th-century casement. The rear elevation has 19th-century fenestration and, above, to the left, a chamfered stone casement.
