Description
Village Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It was built in 1720, with some additions made in the mid-19th century. The structure is made of brick, partly rendered, and features a steeply pitched concrete tile roof. It has a plinth, a first-floor band, and dentillated eaves. There are two gable and one ridge brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and consists of four bays, arranged in an L-shape.
The front of the farmhouse has a six-panel door on the right, with the top two panels being glazed and an overlight above. To the left of the door is a small glazing bar casement window. Further left, there are two more casements, and to the right, there is a single 20th-century two-light cross mullioned casement. Above these, there are four similar casements. All of these openings have segmental rubbed brick heads.
On the left gable, there is a 20th-century casement window to the right and a mid-19th-century outbuilding to the left, which has a large doorway in the return angle. The rear wing on the north side features casements with segmental heads.
