Description
The gate piers and walls at East Lodge at Little Dalby Hall were built around 1837, likely designed by T. L. Donaldson for E. B. Hartopp. They are constructed from coursed and squared ironstone and ashlar. The structure features two curved walls, each approximately 70 meters long, with ramped moulded copings. There are also two square gate piers adorned with strapwork decoration and stepped pyramidal capitals. These elements were originally built as gates to Little Dalby Hall.
