Description

Townsend Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of brick with a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys tall with a blind attic and features three bays. The central door is set in a renewed opening and is flanked by 3-light casement windows that have cambered brick heads. There are blind lights in the attic. The farmhouse has gable end stacks. At the rear, some coursed and squared limestone work can be seen in the gable wall, indicating a possible earlier core.
