Description

Old House Farmhouse is a timber-framed farmhouse dating to the late 16th to early 17th century. It has brick panel infills, although some areas may originally have been wattle and daub now hidden beneath render, and a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has a main range and a crosswing. Jowled posts are located at the angles of both the main range and the wing. The main range has two bays with straight-arched bracing to irregularly sized panels. A doorway is recessed in the angle of the main range. Casement windows are present on each floor. Two side-wall stacks are visible in the crosswing.
