Description
Field Head Farmhouse is a house from the late 18th century. It is constructed of granite and slate rubble stone, topped with a Swithland slate roof and features two rebuilt brick ridge stacks. The building has two storeys and includes three 3-light centre opening casements on the front, with brick cambered lintels on the ground floor. There is a 20th-century outshut porch that has a 4-light casement window at the front and a side door. The roof is also made of Swithland slate. A basement opening is located on the left end, while a small brick porch with a Swithland slate roof is found on the right end. To the left, a 2-light window has replaced a door. At the rear, there is a second span, possibly added later, positioned obliquely, featuring a 1-light window in the right gable. The rear also includes casements, a porch, and a stack.
