Description
The Red Lion Public House, located at No 164 High Street in Hinckley, is a public house dating from the late 18th century, with later alterations and additions. It is constructed of red brick and features a concrete tile roof with brick end stacks. The building stands two storeys tall with an attic and has bands at the first floor and eaves levels. The front facade has two windows that are 20th-century casements set within 18th-century segmental-headed openings. There is a central door with a rectangular overlight beneath a segmental arch. To the left, there is a late 19th-century two-storey, single bay extension that has windows matching those of the main building and includes a modillion eaves course.
