Description

The Manse is a building associated with the Congregational Chapel, likely constructed around 1825. It is made of red brick and features a slate roof. The structure has two storeys and a very shallow hipped roof, which is adorned with a cornice band and two tall brick stacks at the rear. The front of the building is regularly arranged with three windows, which are glazing bar sashes topped with rusticated flat-arched heads and keyblocks. In the center, there is a panelled door that includes a transom-light, framed by an architrave surround and topped with a flat hood supported by curved brackets.
