Description
17 and 19 Welham Road are late 18th century to early 19th century buildings made of red brick with a slate roof and end chimneys. They stand three storeys tall, with the top storey possibly added in the 19th century. The buildings feature two sash windows on the lower two floors, which have late 19th century glazing and stuccoed lintels. There is a small additional window on the first floor, positioned off centre. The central door is topped with a flat hood and flanked by pilasters. These buildings are prominent in the view from the village centre, facing down Sutton Road, and are listed as Grade II for their architectural significance and group value.
