Description
The Bewicke Arms Public House is a public house and dwelling that dates from the late 16th century to the early 17th century. It is constructed with a rendered finish over ironstone rubble and features a thatched roof. The building is two stories high and has a large two-unit plan. The right-hand bay is gabled and includes a canted bay window on the ground floor, with a three-light casement window above it. To the left of the bay window is a doorway, followed by another three-light casement window. There are two additional three-light casement windows on the upper floor. The window arrangements are likely from the 19th or 20th century. The building has coped gables and features both gable and axial stacks.
