Description

Cross Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage built of coursed ironstone rubble. It features 18th-century red brick with blue headers on the south gable and has a thatched roof. The cottage is two storeys high and follows a three-unit plan, with one bay to the left of the doorway. Each bay contains 2-light casement windows on both floors. The building has gable and axial stacks, along with coped gables.
