Description

This cottage, located southeast of the church, is a house that was formerly two dwellings. It dates mainly from the late 18th century, although it may include an earlier core in the right-hand bay. The building is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble, with a brick rear wing and a Welsh slate roof. It features five bays, with a centrally placed doorway and two-light casement windows on either side of the doorway on both floors. All the windows are wood mullioned casements, complete with stone keys and hoodmoulds. Between the two right-hand windows, there is a small chamfered stone fire window that has been blocked. The cottage also has ashlar gable and axial stacks.
