Description

The Cloisters, Presbytery, and Sacristies attached to the Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady of Victories were built in 1888, with the Sacristies and cloister added in 1898. The architect was P P Pugin. This building is located at the north end of the church and is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and stone coped gable ends.

The street facade features a stone banded wing on the north side with kneelers. It is 1 ½ storeys high and has a large weatherboarded dormer that contains three small windows. The entrance includes a Gothic arched door with side panels, set within a stone architrave that has a dripstone mould. There is one large casement window, which is likely a reproduction, and a three-light mullioned sash window with glazing bars and a relieving arch set in the gable end. Above, there is a rectangular vent.
