Description
This is a row of five tombstones dedicated to the Saddington family, located 4 meters east of the chancel in the churchyard of St Andrew. The tombstones are made of limestone ashlar. The central tombstone commemorates Thomas Saddington, who died on October 18, 1706, and features a heart-shaped shield with a decorative cartouche that is broken away at the top right corner. To the left is another tombstone for Thomas Saddington, who died in 1775, which has a moulded segmental top. To the right of the central stone is a tombstone for John Saddington, who died in 1735, with a moulded surround. Further to the right is another tombstone for John Saddington, dated 1712, which is adorned with a double-scrolled cartouche.
