Description

The Manor House, located on High Street in Kibworth Beauchamp, is a house dating from the late 16th century to the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone and timber-framed, colourwashed rendered brick, topped with a Swithland slate roof that features colourwashed rendered brick ridge and end stacks. The building has an H plan with gabled cross wings and stands two storeys tall.

On the left gable, there is a gabled wooden openwork porch with a door, accompanied by a three-light casement window on the upper ground floor to the right. This window has leaded lights and a moulded hood mould. The recessed centre of the house features a four-light stone mullion window, with a three-light casement above it, both also fitted with leaded lights. To the right of these windows is a part louvered window with a single light above. The right gable includes a three-light casement window on both floors, with the upper window showcasing leaded lights and a moulded hood mould.

Extending from the left end of the house is a red brick garden wall, approximately 2.5 meters high, which borders High Street and features brick coping. Inside the house, there are said to be tie beam trusses with curved principals.
