Description
The Sun Public House is a public house dating from the late 17th century to the 18th century, with a mid-19th century refronting. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone, featuring quoins, and has a Welsh slate roof with brick ridge and end stacks. The right gable is stone coped. The building has two storeys and displays four casements on the upper floor: three are centre-opening three-light windows, and one is a two-light window located centre right. On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century flat-topped part-glazed porch on the left, followed by a centre-opening three-light part-glazed door and a similar three-light window. Inside, the public house features chamfered ceiling beams and a chamfered central post with ogee type stops.
