Description

This is a late 18th-century farmhouse located on Thurstaston Mill Road. It is constructed of painted brick with a Swithland slate roof and brick stacks at the ridge and right end. The house has an L-shaped plan, running parallel to the road, with the entrance on the right-hand side, facing away from the road. The upper floor has three renewed casement windows with leaded lights, each composed of three lights. On the ground floor are three similar three-light casement windows, each with a cambered lintel, alongside a door with a porch and a French window. The front of the house, facing the road, has two similar three-light casement windows with cambered lintels, and two two-light casement windows above. A 19th-century wing extends beyond the original structure towards the road.
