Description
This is a 16th and 17th century barn, originally constructed from timber and later recased and converted into dwellings. The structure is built of rendered granite, slate rubble stone, and red brick, with a 20th-century tile roof. It has a 1½-story profile with two 20th-century windows, a central door, and a dormer window above. A 19th-century outbuilding projects forward on the right side. Inside, a pair of original cruck blades have been incorporated as a feature. The cottage is included on the list for its group value with the adjacent barn, of which it was originally part, along with the farmhouse. The farmhouse, barn, and cottage together form an interesting group.
