Description

Prestwold Hall's garden walls, built between 1842 and 1844 by Burn, are designated as a group value context. These walls form a terrace or Ha-Ha and are constructed of low coped stone. They feature alternating sections of solid ashlar and a balustraded parapet, with a curved projection at the center of the south range. Stone seats are incorporated into the western and eastern angles, and the walls are ornamented with urns.
