Description
Stanton Lodge Farmhouse and the adjoining outbuilding is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with alterations and additions made in the mid 19th century and 20th century. The building is constructed of brick and features both slate and plain tile roofs, along with two brick gable stacks. It has three storeys and three bays, arranged in an L-plan.
The front of the farmhouse includes a central 20th-century gabled porch that has a glazed door, with single three-light casement windows on either side. Above this, there is a central eight-pane fixed light window, again flanked by single three-light casements. All of these windows have segmental rubbed brick heads. Above this level, there is a small central strip casement, flanked by larger 20th-century strip casements. To the left of the farmhouse, there is a single-storey outbuilding that features a two-light casement window.
