Description
The Grange is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, constructed of red brick with a hipped concrete tile roof featuring three lateral brick stacks. The building stands three storeys tall, with the south elevation comprising three bays. The central entrance has a moulded painted doorcase that contains a 20th-century panelled door and a rectangular overlight. This entrance is flanked by glazing bar sash windows set beneath painted keyed wedge lintels. On the first floor, there is a central glazing bar sash with a moulded architrave, accompanied by two additional glazing bar sashes beneath keyed wedge stone lintels. The upper floor features three smaller windows of a similar style. The west elevation includes a Venetian window at ground level. There are former outbuildings attached to the east that have been converted into a dwelling in the 20th century, but these are not of special interest. Inside, the farmhouse includes a boxed-in stick baluster staircase.
