Description
Littlecroft is a pair of cottages that have been combined into one building. It dates from the 17th or 18th century and was raised in the 19th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The structure is made of red brick and features a plain tile roof with brick gable stacks and a dentil eaves cornice.
The building is two storeys high and has a two-bay south elevation. On the ground floor, there are two 2-light casement windows and two doorways with 20th-century glazed doors. All openings have segment heads. The left-hand doorway has been relocated to the right and features a gabled bracketed hood. The first floor has two 2-light casement windows under flat arches. To the right, there is a garage.
Inside, the building includes a cruck truss and the truncated remains of a second cruck truss, along with chamfered and stopped joists and ceiling beams. There are also inglenook fireplaces.
