Description
Hollies Farmhouse is a farmhouse and attached cottage that has been converted into one house. It dates from the late 18th century and has had some additions and alterations in the 20th century. The building is constructed of red brick with brick dressings and features plain tile roofs, brick coped gables, and brick gable stacks. The farmhouse has a dentilled eaves band. It stands three storeys high and has three bays, along with a two-storey, two-bay wing to the west.
The central entrance features a wide weatherboarded gabled porch from the 20th century, which has a glazed door and small windows on either side, covering the original doorcase and a glazed panelled door. On either side of the porch, there are segment-headed small pane three-light casements, with two similar windows above and a two-light window over the door. Above this, there is a similar arrangement of flat-headed small pane casements. The lower part attached to the west is set back significantly and has a three-light segment-headed small pane casement to the west and large glazed patio doors to the east. Above these, there are two flat-headed three-light small pane casements.
