Description

Rosedene is an early 19th-century cottage located on Main Street in the parish of Stanton-by-Bridge. The cottage is constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof and brick gable and ridge stacks. It features a sawtooth eaves band. The cottage is two storeys high and has two bays. An off-centre, segment-headed doorcase contains a 20th-century door, flanked by segment-headed, three-light windows; the window to the east is a 20th-century copy of the other. Above, there are two similar segment-headed windows. All the windows are 20th-century casements. The building is listed for group value only, meaning its significance is linked to its contribution to the character of a nearby group of buildings.
