Description

High Standing is an early 19th-century house constructed of ashlar stone. It features a plain band at the first floor and a slate roof with stone gable stacks. The building is two storeys tall and has three bays. The central entrance consists of a glazed panelled door set beneath a large stone lintel, with three-light diamond patterned iron casements on either side, also beneath similar lintels. On the upper floor, there are two matching windows and a blocked central opening.
