Description
The Central Methodist Church, built in 1863, is a chapel located prominently on the slopes of a hill. It features a stuccoed facade with a pedimented gable end and a cornice, topped by a slate roof. The north facade consists of three bays, separated by giant pilasters that frame the elevation. The building is two storeys high and has a symmetrical design. It includes round arched windows with a moulded band at impost height that extends around as archivolts. A wide gabled porch is situated at the center, while the side elevation has four windows and rises three storeys due to the hill slope. The middle storey features round arched windows with glazing bars that radiate to the arches.
