Description

Bladon Castle Lodge is an early 19th-century lodge built in a Gothic style, resembling a small chapel. It is constructed of red brick and features plain tile roofs, along with a large tall ridge stack that has a castellated top. The lodge has decorative bargeboards and is a single storey. The entrance elevation is gabled and includes a gabled timber porch with a pointed doorway, flanked by single lancet windows that have margin light diamond glazing. The north elevation also has three lancet windows with similar glazing and hoodmoulds. There is a 20th-century garage attached to the opposite side, which is not of special interest.
