Description

Park Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 18th century and early 19th century. The main front is constructed of ashlar, while the other sides are made of red brick with stone dressings. It features a hipped slate roof with wide eaves and ashlar ridge stacks, along with a cove eaves band. The building is two storeys high with three bays in the early 19th-century section and a three-storey, three-bay rear wing from the 18th century, forming a T-plan.

The early 19th-century front has a plinth, a plain band at the first floor level, and the central bay is slightly advanced with pilaster strips at each corner. The entrance features a glazed panelled door with a plain overlight, which is sheltered by a late 19th-century conservatory porch that has a hipped glass roof and double doors. On either side of the door, there are tall glazing bar sash windows, and above, there are three similar sash windows. The side elevations of the early 19th-century section also have similar sashes set below rusticated wedge lintels. The 18th-century wing at the rear includes segment-headed casement windows.

Inside, the early 19th-century section has a stick baluster staircase illuminated by a lantern window, while the 18th-century part features low beamed ceilings and inglenook fireplaces.
