Description

There are four bollards located at the north-east end of Broad Walk in Buxton. These bollards date from the mid-19th century and are part of Sir Joseph Paxton's design for the Broad Walk. They are made of cast iron and feature a slightly tapering shape with three tiers of paired horizontal bands and shaped baluster tops. The Broad Walk is characterized by a series of Victorian villas and walkways that overlook the Pavilion Gardens.
